1. What the site provides
HowSoonIs offers free online date and time calculators, holiday countdowns, calendars, guides and related tools ("the Service"). The Service is provided for general information and personal planning. You do not need an account to use it.
2. Accuracy of results
We work hard to make every calculation correct, but we cannot guarantee that every result is free of errors or suitable for your particular purpose. Dates of some holidays depend on official announcements or local moon sightings and can change. Business-day counts do not remove public holidays. Always confirm important dates, such as legal, financial, medical, immigration or contractual deadlines, with the relevant authority or a qualified professional. See our disclaimer for more detail.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
- attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorized access to the site or its servers;
- use automated tools to scrape or copy large parts of the site, other than normal search engine indexing;
- create custom countdowns or embedded widgets that contain offensive, misleading or unlawful text;
- present our content or tools as your own.
4. Custom countdowns and embeds
You may create custom countdowns and embed our countdown widget on your own website free of charge, provided the widget is not modified to hide the link back to HowSoonIs. Custom countdown titles are stored only in the link you create; you are responsible for the text you enter. We may disable the widget or any link at any time.
5. Intellectual property
The site design, text, guides, graphics and code are owned by HowSoonIs and protected by copyright. You may link to any page and quote short extracts with a link back to the source. You may not republish whole pages, articles or tools without written permission.
6. Advertising and third-party links
The site may display advertising provided by third parties, such as Google AdSense, and may link to other websites. We are not responsible for the content, products or privacy practices of advertisers or linked sites. How advertising partners use cookies is explained in our privacy policy.
7. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that the site will always be available or error-free.
